The yearly general assembly of the Research Campus MODAL (Mathematical Optimization and Data Analysis Laboratories) took place in the premises of its host institution ZIB. There was a broad participation of industrial partners of all four labs, including representatives of DB Fernverkehr AG and LBW GbR for the RailLab, SAP AG and 1000shapes GmbH for the MedLab, Siemens AG, GAMS GmbH, Fico Ltd., and FIZ Karlsruhe for the SynLab, as well as the MODAL AG. Prof. Christof Schütte will replace Prof. Martin Grötschel as the head of the Research Campus in October 2015.
Die jährliche Mitgliederversammlung des Forschungscampus MODAL (Mathematische Optimierung und Datenanalyse Laboratorien) fand in den Räumen seiner Trägerinstitution ZIB statt. Es gab eine breite Beteiligung der Industriepartner aller vier Labs mit Vertretern von DB Fernverkehr AG und LBW GbR für das BahnLab, von SAP AG und 1000shapes GmbH für das MedLab, von Siemens AG, GAMS GmbH, Fico Ltd und dem FIZ Karlsruhe für das SynLab, sowie der MODAL AG. Prof. Christof Schütte übernimmt den Vorsitz des Forschungscampus von Martin Grötschel im Oktober 2015.
